Last month, H&R Block hosted one of the Midwest’s Franchise Business Network (FBN) meetings. These quarterly meeting are held throughout North America. The goal is to allow franchisors and suppliers to connect and discuss current topics related to franchising. SOLVE was excited to have Lindsay Thomsen, Senior Strategist and Business Psychologist, as one of the speakers along with Jeff Johnson, Founder & President of Franchise Research Institute. Their presentation discussed the importance of collecting franchise data and how to utilize it for maximum outcome.
“Thank you, Jeff, (Franchise Research Institute) and Lindsay (SOLVE), for being our guest speaker at the FBN event hosted by H&R Block. The message “What’s Data Got to Do With It” was compelling and insightful to any franchisor that is passionate about building franchisee satisfaction. I believe the attendees all walked away with a better understanding of the value of capturing the right data and then determining which data is critical to take action on to continue to see progress. The relationship with franchisees and franchisors is really like a marriage and having valuable feedback along the way builds a better Brand and will enhance the way we deliver on our purpose.” Bob Moretti, VP Franchise and Acquisition H&R Block
“At our most recent Franchise Business Network meeting in Kansas City, Jeff and Lindsay combined to provide a unique perspective on the use of data to help franchisors make their franchisees more successful and otherwise improve the franchise relationship. Their collective experience in franchising and psychology led to many interesting follow-up discussions and created some great takeaways for all attendees.” John D. Moore, Partner Husch Blackwell
