Lincoln Surgical Hospital
Goal: To develop leadership skills in the Directors of the organization.
Solution: Conducted a 9-workshop series focused on customized areas for the Directors and also engaged Executive team in the development process.
Results: Compared to their pre-training skill assessments, on average, directors reported improvements in their professionalism and interpersonal skills after completing the leadership development workshop. Specific to interpersonal skills, directors improved on how they value differences in others, developing trust with others, creating positive working relationships with others, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among staff, showing respect and appreciation for others, coaching staff to develop their skills and abilities, and managing conflict effectively. Participants also reported “Very good series” and “Excellent course led by an experienced knowledgeable instructor.”
